Panzer IV F1/F2's

Continuing with my DAK tanks, I've added some Panzer IV F1/F2's with modifications I made to the Panzer III J's for barrel swapping.

History

The Panzer IV Ausf F series was the heaviest tank in the German arsenal at the start of the war with the Soviet Union. The major improvement of Panzer IV F series was the all-around increase in armor thickness in comparison with earlier models.

Another improvement that was introduced in order to combat the superiority of KV-1 and T-34 encountered on the Eastern Front was a new gun; the long-barrelled 7.5cm KwK40 L/43. The up-gunned version of Panzer IV F was known as the Panzer IV F2 while those vehicles that retained the original short-barrelled 7.5cm KwK37 L/24 were designated the Panzer IV F1.

In Flames Of War

7.5cm KwK37 gun: AT7, ROF 2, FP 3+

7.5cm KwK40 gun: AT11, ROF 2, FP 3+

And now for the pictures...
